The eggs are incubated inside the incubators in the appropriate room of the farm, ensuring maximum care and attention to this very delicate phase. The chick house was designed taking care of all the aspects necessary for the growth of the chicks, from the color of the walls, to the temperature and ventilation, to the light, thanks to the precious company experience accumulated.
During the Farm Experience, it is possible to see the chicks through the special window with a view.

The White Valdarnese Chicken

The White Valdarnese Chicken stands out for its rusticity, independent character and slow growth, which varies from 4 to 6 months and beyon It develops tasty and compact meat thanks to grazing in our woods. Its small size, lean build, thin, generally yellow skin, long thighs and yellow legs are a symbol of the peasant tradition of Valdarno, which bring the authentic taste of the past back to your table.

Chicken Valdarno

The Valdarnese Black Chicken, is known for its rebellious nature and slow growth, lasting from 5 to 6 months and more. Its breeding in the woods allows you to make the most of its characteristics. The meat, with an intense flavour, is characterized by its compact structure, the thin, basically white skin, the ambrosia-coloured legs, the tenacious and tasty and at the same time delicate meat which keeps alive the gastronomic tradition of the Valdarno area.

Guinea fowl

In the tradition of the lower court of Valdarno, the Common Gray Guinea Fowl, also called “Gallinella”, was introduced in ancient times, which, raised in the woods and olive groves, grows slowly, developing firm, tasty flesh with an intense and decisive flavour.

Moulting Duck

The historic “mute dwarf”, so called in the Valdarno area, finds its natural habitat in the olive grove.

Bred for slow growth, with meat with an intense and unmistakable flavour, it also lays very tasty eggs, delicious for making pasta, desserts, nutritious omeletes

Pigeon

With the same attention, the pigeon, carefully selected and also bred in special aviaries to guarantee its healthy food, grows in a controlled environment which favors its optimal development. Its meat, soft, tasty and rich in proteins, stands out for its tenderness and intense flavour
